About the University

Saxion University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest institutions of higher education in the Netherlands, with close to 27,000 students and still growing. Saxion’s international student population tops 3,500 students with a total of 89 different nationalities

Saxion University has a rich history – its roots can be traced back to 1875. Admission requirements

  • Copy of Identity
  • A diploma with good results at least equivalent to the Dutch havo, vwo or mbo4 for bachelor program and 4 years hbo for master programs.
  • IELTS or TOEFL certificate  
  • Academic reference (if applicable)
  • Personal statement 

 

Tuition fees 

EU/EEA students only pay the statutory tuition fees (LOW FEES) for all our bachelor’s programs (possibility to pay in instalments)

Location

Saxion University of Applied Sciences has three campuses in the East of the Netherlands – one campus in each of the three Dutch cities of Deventer, Enschede and Apeldoorn. All Saxion locations have good public transport facilities, meaning that the hustle and bustle of the major cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague is no more than 1½ hours away.
