Excursions
Take a deep dive into Greece’s fascinating history. Travel back in time to the ancient sites of Nauplia, Epidaurus, Nemea and Mycenae. Enjoy a day trip to the magnificent city of Athens and explore the striking Acropolis. The island doesn’t allow private vehicles in the town, so people get around by walking, horse-drawn carriages, bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles. You will explore the islands by bike, admiring the surrounding beauty and discovering hidden treasures, including caves, churches, monasteries and lighthouses
Two hours by ferry from Athens, the Mediterranean Sea island of Spetses is a place of exceptional natural beauty. The School extends over about 12 hectares land area, west of the center of Spetses (port), at a distance of approximately 1 km.
Immediately you will be struck by Spetses’ exceptional natural beauty. Still, the island boasts enormous historical significance, not only for Greece but all of Europe, with archaeological discoveries dating as far back as 2300BC. The 18th century saw trade flourish leading to economic development on the island, making it center stage in the revolt against the Turkish occupation.
