The Humboldt-Institut was founded in 1977. ACCOMMODATION 

The students stay in twin rooms directly on campus. All rooms have their own en-suite bathroom, as well as a balcony

Programs

One of the Humboldt-Institut’s strengths is the intensity of instruction due to the high number of lessons per week, the small class sizes as well as the school’s curriculum. The following types of programs are available:

  • Intensive German Course 30 (30 lessons per week)/Ages 14-17)
  • Intensive German Course 25 (25 lessons per week)/Ages 10-13)

EXCURSIONS

Every Saturday, the staff members organize and accompany full-day excursions to attractive destinations. Every Wednesday, the students will have half-day excursions to sights and interesting towns within the region

Course centers for children (10-13) and teenagers (14-17) at Bad Schussenried.

Bad Schussenried is a historic monastery town with 8,500 inhabitants located in the beautiful, idyllic hill country between Lake Constance and the Danube and Iller rivers. The school is housed in a modern complex nestled between a lovely park and an extensive outdoor recreation area. Students can walk to downtown Bad Schussenried in about five minutes
