ACCOMMODATION
The boarding house is divided into residential floors with boys and girls sleep on separate floors. Camp staff live in their own apartments on each of these floors, so support is always within easy reach. All students have a comfortable bed and desk space. Some rooms have breathtaking views of Lake Geneva. Rooms are already warm and homely when each student arrives
The students are invited, encouraged, and challenged to develop their leadership skills throughout all activities, expeditions, and games.
Every day students participate in a short workshop introducing an important leadership skill. They then practice that skill throughout the day’s activities and games as part of an experiential learning process in the Swiss outdoors.
All workshops are highly interactive, are delivered by educational experts, and include dynamic presentations, games, and team reflection. So, no dull classroom moments, but learning while doing!
The students learn to take responsibility, reflect, and evaluate for themselves. Senior trainers work around the clock to share feedback on what was learned and how to apply those skills and competencies both at camp and in daily life camp back home.
Leadership modules include:
English is the main language at camp, and students are encouraged to use it. They also speak French, as well as many other languages
The campus of Collège Champittet is located in Pully, Lausanne, a beautiful setting by the shores of Lake Geneva. It is a safe and stimulating environment just steps from the Olympic Museum, and not far from the center of Lausanne.
