The boarding house is divided into four residential floors, with boys and girls on separate floors. Resident staff live in their own apartments on each of these floors as well, so support is always within easy reach. All students have a comfortable bed and desk space. Some rooms have breath-taking views of Lake Geneva. Rooms are already warm and homey when each student arrives, although they can decorate their space to make it even more comfortable and welcoming for them. On each floor, a shared living room provides a relaxing communal space for students to enjoy each other’s company, play games or watch movies

Programs

Preschool Curriculum (Ages 3 to 4)

The bilingual preschool in Pully (Lausanne) and Nyon welcomes children from the age of 3. The preschool curriculum nurtures the growth and curiosity of youngest learners through educational activities and games. Creative, hands-on learning enables the preschool students to gain a sense of autonomy while developing motor skills and confidence with numbers. Preschool classes are taught by native speakers of French and English.

Primary School Curriculum (Ages 4 to 12)

Subjects covered during our primary school years include mathematics, science, history, literature, languages, music, arts and crafts, and physical education. With French as the primary language of instruction, students develop their reading, writing and math skills through fun and engaging activities. At the same time, they are progressively immersed in English coursework. Primary students also gain early exposure to German through workshops and games, with formal study of the language beginning at age 7.

Secondary School Curriculum (Ages 12 to 18)

The secondary school is divided into two parts:

  • Grades 9 and 10 (middle school): Students follow our bilingual French-English pathway or the pre-IB (International Baccalaureate program in English) pathway.
  • Grades 11 to 14 (high school): Students focus on diploma preparation, choosing either the bilingual Swiss Maturité, French Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate in English.

With each of our diploma programs, we provide a rigorous curriculum rooted in our Swiss standards of excellence. Our approach to teaching enables students not only to learn, but to understand how they learn. It helps them become inquisitive and highly skilled lifelong learners. Along the way, they develop the teamwork and leadership skills they will need to succeed in all their future endeavors.

The three internationally recognized diploma programs enable students to follow the pathway that best fits their interests and future goals. At the same time, as part of Nord Anglia Education, the students benefit from enhanced learning opportunities through our Juilliard Performing Arts program; the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) program with MIT; and collaboration with UNICEF
