Classic Summer School: Classic Summer School is recommended for students looking to balance studying English with a full leisure programme, as well as time to socialise with students from other countries. You will work on all of the key skills reading, writing, listening and speaking as well as extending your vocabulary and activating your grammar. The lessons have a link to the leisure programme to make a rounded experience and put what it learnt in the classroom into practice.

Digital Summer School: Students will benefit from 15 hours a week of English lessons and 12 hours of additional coding sessions per course. Students will learn how to write code using the latest Raspberry Pi: one of the UK’s best-selling computers. Students will learn a variety of simple codes for practical uses like games and websites. The history and future of coding will also be discussed and the two-week course will include a visit to the former top secret code breaking centre, Bletchley Park, where the allies cracked the Enigma Code in WWII.

Film-making Summer School: Students take their usual 15 hours of English tuition in the mornings to help improve their General English. They will also have several additional sessions in afternoons focusing on the following topics: Storyboarding, Script writing, Camera technique, Shooting, Editing.The Film Making course offers students the opportunity to improve their techniques necessary to write, perform and shoot a short film. They will have access to modern editing facilities. Each two- week course offers 7 tuition sessions (17.5 hours) plus an excursion to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio.



Sports: Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Badminton, Cricket… you will enjoy your favorite sport in our summer schools!

Indoor Activities: Some days are more relaxed than others. Enjoy some board games, x-box games, billiards, cinema night, treasure hunt, quizzes and more!

Berkhamsted stands on the famous Grand Union Canal, a haven for river wildlife, and the countryside around is rolling and gentle.  All this just half an hour from London!

Berkhamsted School is a private, independent school, dating back to 1541, retaining its original building while incorporating modern facilities.

It is located in the centre of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, around 30 kilometres north-west of London. All main buildings are a 5-10 minute walk from each other.
