  • DLD College London(DCL) is the only school in Central London with Boarding in the same building and all boarders feel that this is their ‘home away from home’. The rooms are, quite simply, some of the best boarding accommodation available in the UK. There are three options available: Single Ensuite, Premier Single Ensuite,Twin Ensuite
  • Abbey College Cambridge (ACC), as a boarding school located within the heart of Cambridge, offers boarding accommodation in more than 400 student rooms, all located either on-campus or within a few minutes’ walk. All of its student accommodation is of the highest possible standard, and board options to suit any student requirement are offered.
  • Abbey College Manchester (ACM): A student’s age will determine how the accommodation is organized. Students under 16 at the start of the academic year must stay with a host family. Host families are carefully selected to ensure a friendly, safe environment in which students can relax, integrate and study. A student will have his/her own single bedroom, together with a desk and storage facilities. Students aged 16 have the choice to either stay with a host family or in the brand- new boarding house Clydesdale, located in central Manchester, offering high-quality, safe accommodation within a 10 minute walk of Abbey College Manchester Student Residence.
Programs
  • GCSE: The DLD College GCSE program is taught over periods of either one or two years. GCSEs represent the first step on the pathway towards a UK university. The GCSE program is a rigorous preparation to the A Level program and post 16 qualifications. Students are taught by teachers who are experts in their respective fields and who know how to develop students’ potential to achieve success.
The choice of subjects in the one year program is more limited because it is a fast-track intensive program for students who have covered a similar curriculum in their home country or who are transferring from another school after completing Year 10. The best options for each student are discussed at interview to ensure they meet the needs of the student.
  • A Level: A wide range of A Level courses, helping students achieve their potential and making certain that they achieve the best possible academic qualifications.
  • BTEC: BTECs are specialist qualifications that are an alternative to A Levels. They provide a more practical, real-world approach to learning alongside a key theoretical background. DLD College London offers BTEC qualifications in Business and Creative Digital Media Production which are the equivalent of three A Levels (BTEC Diploma) or just one A Level (BTEC Certificate).
  • International Foundation: International Foundation Programs (IFP) are one-year intensive courses, designed as an alternative to A Levels, which prepare international students for undergraduate study. All of the IFPs include subject modules specific to the pathway course and they also include core skills modules which aim to equip students with the necessary skills and competencies required for undergraduate study and overall university readiness.
